  • A 5 year old girl started "to turn blue as huge blisters came up on her hands where she had been holding on to her father.... He had been holding a handful of peanuts." Her father took her to a chemist's in Piccadilly Circus, who recognized the problem as anaphylaxis. A motorcycle paramedic treated her at the shop, before she was taken to the hospital. [101]
